The Centre holds only group intakes of children as opposed to admitting one child at a time. These admissions take in a minimum of 25 children and a maximum of 35 at a time. The following key requirements are followed as a guideline for admission :
- 90% of the total intake must comprise of street children, while 10% is made up of orphans and destitute children.
- Only children who are between the ages of 6 and 8 are admitted, regardless of their ethnicity or religion
- Each of the children has to introduce a parent, relative, or guardian to the centre before admission. This helps during reintegration and cases of emergency
- A thorough medical test has to be conducted on each child before admission, ensuring the sick are put on immediate treatment Center Administration
The Centre is run by a Board (NPCC Board) approved by the CITAM Deacon Board . The Centre Management Team is composed of the Centre Manager, Education Co-ordinator, Nurse/Matron, and a Social Worker. The Centre manager reports to the NPCCC Board.
