Our Background

Nairobi Pentecostal Church Academy Buruburu is part of Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM). It is one of the two schools owned by CITAM, the other being NPC Academy Woodley. The academy that comprises a kindergarten, a primary school and a secondary school was acquired from Handa Group of Schools by CITAM in September 2005.

Our Vision

To nurture an all-rounded individual who is socially, physically, emotionally, morally, intellectually and spiritually grounded in the Word of God.

Our Mission

"Educating the Whole Person"

We believe that by developing the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and spiritual potentials of the learner, we will be helping mould a disciplined, creative, respectful and morally upright member of the global community who is well balanced and equipped to meet the changes and challenges of life today.

Our Motto

"Pressing Toward the Mark"

"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14.

Our Objectives
  • To prepare every learner to attain education based on a firm, spiritual and moral foundation.
  • To inculcate a healthy spirit of competition, to win gracefully and to lose with dignity.
  • To help each learner to realize their potential as individuals and expect them to become eager participants in the life of the community.
  • To instill in the learners a sense of commitment to learning, a capacity to develop and apply creativity, knowledge and skills learnt to real life situations.
  • To prepare every learner to read and to think critically, speak and write with cogency and precision.
  • To help our students achieve their academic goals, while at the same time enjoying the process of learning.
  • To train every learner to be aware of the world beyond the school community.
